FAQ

How is the hair measured?

The hair is measured in inches and is true to length. For all textures hair is pulled to its longest point and measured.

How much hair is considered to be a "bundle"?

Typical each bundle of hair is approximately 3.5 oz.

How many bundles do you need for a full sew in?

For a full sew in installation, you need at least 2 bundles of hair for lengths up to 16 inches. For lengths of 18 inches and greater for a natural look, you'll need at least 3 bundles but the ultimate determining factor is how full you prefer your hair to look and feel.

How long does the hair last?

These extensions can typically last up to a year. Depending on your installation method and care of the hair of course.

Why does the hair only come in one color?

Hair that you purchase from the beauty supply in all different colors is processed to yield those colors which means it is no longer virgin unprocessed hair. This hair is all natural 100% virgin and free from all processing agents including dye. All hair will be a natural brown/black color but can be colored to reach your preferred shade.

Will the hair go back to its original curl pattern if I straighten it?

Yes as does all human hair. Allow hair to air dry instead of blow drying to achieve it's natural curl pattern. For tighter curls, the pattern will loosen after excessive heat has been applied.

Does the hair shed?

Because the hair is hand wefted, there will typical be a very small amount of shedding. We do extensive quality control to make sure that all our wefts are of the highest quality possible.

What is the best way to maintain the hair?

● Shampoo with a mild shampoo (i.e dove moisture repair) and follow up with a similar conditioner.
● For all waves and curls, the air dry method is best for maintaining the natural pattern.
● A mist of light oil (i.e Moroccan oil, organ oil) can be used to maintain luster.
● Finger comb or use a wide tooth comb to tame your hair daily. Small tooth combs can cause shedding and tangling.
● Do not put heavy oils or alcohol based products on your hair.
